Every Windows user, no matter how advanced or inexperienced he is, uses cursors. But most of the users only use the default cursors that come together with Windows. There are times when you get bored using them and you would like to try something new. Or maybe you would like to create your own cursors using your imagination. Now you can do this with the help of Axialis CursorWorkshop. It's a software that can help you create any type of cursor from scratch or by using any image file as a starting point.

Axialis CursorWorkshop installs quickly and easily, without much intervention from the user. Besides that, the hard disk space occupied is extremely low, as the program only takes up around 14 MB. The installer doesn't add any adware or toolbars into the operating system, speaking of which, any version of Microsoft Windows can be used for running this application.

The interface looks close to the one of other Axialis products, having a nice graphical aspect and being intuitive. Clicking on the New button using the graphical toolbar or selecting the same option from the classical menu will display a step by step wizard, from where the user can select the type of cursor he would like to create, which is static or animated. After this step is over, the user can select the number of colors and the size of the icon. Various predefined sizes and color schemes are included.

After the wizard is complete, the user has a lot of tools for drawing at its fingertips. He can also add text or shapes to be used as a cursor. Besides allowing the creation of cursors from scratch, Axialis CursorWorkshop also allows importing various graphical formats to be used as cursors. The images can be thoroughly customized.

After the cursors are created, they can be exported as a standard Windows Cursor file or can be printed directly. Axialis CursorWorkshop can also work as an Adobe Photoshop plugin, assuming that Photoshop is installed into the system.

Pros

It supports a wide range of graphical formats for importing, which can be thoroughly customized. It also includes a simple step by step wizard that allows even beginners to create cursors.

Cons

The program doesn't come with any sample cursors. Axialis CursorWorkshop is the perfect software for creating astonishing cursors for the Windows operating system.
